More “cottony” than cotton, this fabric takes batiste to a whole new level. Made from eucalyptus trees that are grown in protected, sustainably managed forests, lyocell is the first new natural fiber in decades. It is produced entirely without pesticides and its producer, Lenzing of Austria, has won the “European Award for the Environment.” This award winning, ecologically friendly, cellulose based fabric feels like silk, but is 50% more hydrostatic than cotton – wicking away moisture for a comfortable sleep and evaporating it into the air. It drapes and flows like silk too, allowing the comforter to conform to every body curve. Lyocell is also soft, very strong and wrinkle resistant – read more about it here. The baffled box pattern is internally constructed to maximize loft and eliminate shifting. Filled, sewn, and finished in the U.S.A. Fabric woven and shell constructed in Austria. All European down washed, sorted, and processed in the U.S.A. Fabric weight 90 g/m². Custom sizes and weights are available by special order.

How to choose the correct weight down comforter: Level I is perfect for a summer weight comforter or for use in warmer homes. Level II is great for year round use. Level III is for cooler bedrooms kept in the lower 60’s. Level IV is usually suitable for use in a bedroom that is kept at less than 58 degrees Fahrenheit.
